   This series radial leaded ceramic capacitors are a cost effective solution for commercial / industrial applications which do not require expanded temperature range , automotive grade components. The series can be used as snubbers, filters or to replace film capacitors in power supplies. They are available in X7R , X7S and Z5U temperature characterictics. The series have either tin/copper solder coated copper wire or copper plated steel wire leads in 5 mm lead spacing.

    High speed switch mode power supplies require extremely low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and equivalent series inductance (ESL) capacitors for input and output filtering. These requirements are beyond the practical limits of electrolytic capacitors, both aluminum and tantalums, but are readily met by stacking multilayer ceramic (MLCs) capacitors. CHISPRI stacked ceramic capacitors are supplied with lead frames for either thru-hole or surface mount assembly. The lead frames act as stress relief for differences in coefficients of expansion between the large ceramic chip and the PC boards ,and are offered in both horizontally and vertically stacked configurations.

   This three-terminal Ceramic Capacitor is Filter Capacitor that feature lower equivalent series inductance (ESL) than conventional two-terminal MLCCs, enabling them to reduce the impedance in a high-frequency band with fewer components. The filter capacitors provide a three-terminal multilayer ceramic capacitor in a small package.
